Pageville® Shopping Cart Buttons

Selecting Buttons using Dreamweaver or UltraEdit

Use your own BUY and CHECKOUT buttons or select from Pageville's buttons. When the Pageville Shopping Cart Editor is installed, buttons are saved in the Buttons folder which is normally "C:\Program Files\Shopping Cart Editor\Buttons".
Step 1
Click on the button icon on the toolbar.
Step 2
Select a buy and checkout button and the enter the button path.

Adding Buttons for use in Dreamweaver or UltraEdit

You may add buttons that you create or purchase elsewhere to the Buttons folder. Just copy button images with gif, jpg, jpeg or swf extensions (upper or lower case) to "C:\Program Files\Shopping Cart Editor\Buttons".

You must specify which buttons are Buy buttons and which are Checkout buttons. Specify the width and height of each button. The next time you click on the Insert Buttons icon and click on Setup, you will be asked "Do you want to add them to the button list?".

Creating Flash Buttons in Dreamweaver

You can create Flash buttons in Dreamweaver. When you Add/Modify Shopping with a Flash button, the Pageville Shopping Cart Editor creates a new swf file that is Macromedia Flash (SWF) Enabled.

With Flash buttons, your customers will need to have the Flash Player for your shopping buttons to work properly. The Flash Player is already on most computers, and can be downloaded freely from Macromedia. Trademark usage guidelines may be found at www.macromedia.com/go/flash_trademark

The Pop Up Buy Method will not work when using Flash buttons in Internet Explorer.

Step 1
Click on Insert | Media | Flash Button from the top menu.
Step 2
Select a style and enter button text. Then click on OK.
