Pageville® Dynamic Buttons
Use with Dreamweaver and UltraEdit
Dynamic buttons change to indicate that an action has taken place. For shopping carts, a dynamic Flash button can have the message "BUY", and after it has been clicked the message changes to "Added to Cart".
The two most common buy button methods are "Go to Checkout" and "Stay Put". When a site uses the Stay Put method, the shopper clicks on a BUY button and stays on the same web page. There may be no signal that the item has been added to the shopping cart.
The Pageville Shopping Cart Editor adds PayPal or Pageville Shopping Cart code to Flash buttons that have a change message action. The Flash buttons indicate that an item is in the shopping cart.
Non Flash Buttons
Non Flash buttons are always static. They can be used for the Stay Put method but this is not recommended.
