Test our ability to convert YOUR files by downloading the MathEdit Demo.
  • Set the Demo for TeX or LaTeX output.
  • Then place a Word equation in the Clipboard, and paste it into the Demo.
    Your equation is now in MathEdit format.
  • Now Copy the equation back to the Clipboard and paste the Clipboard
    contents into your editor.
    The Clipboard contains the TeX or LaTeX code for the equation.
You can also create new equations in MathEdit and then create TeX or LaTeX in this same way.
The Demo limits the size of the equation that you can output, although you can input any size Word
equation to test the conversion. The Demo only creates TeX or LaTeX to the Clipboard; MathEdit
lets you create .tex files of the equations directly. The conversion technology used by the Demo is
the same as that in Publishing Companion.
