Product Updates

1. Free Update is no longer provided. Since new Texport 2.50 and Mathedit 3.20E is not a free upgrade for Texport, Mathedit, Publishing Companion and Mathsuite user.
2. ALL Texport, Mathedit, Publishing Companion and MathSuite user please go to Order Software page and then click on Update software to buy upgrade for Texport or Mathedit.

TexPort Versions

Version 2.50

TexPort 2.50  has all the features of TexPort 2.01 with the following enhancements:

1. New Texport Word Macro ver 2.02 support Microsoft Word 97/2000/xp.
2. Fixed OLE problem so the Mathedit/Texport software is register for OLE purposes(double-click to edit) on installation.
3. You can use Texport 2.50 without online registration for 30 days. After 30 days all newly installed texport must be register online, otherwise texport will stop running.
4. Fix part of install problem under windows ME. ( If install stop, just hit "alt"+"tab" a couple times and installation will be complete)

Version 2.01

• Includes the TexPort User's Guide in Microsoft Word format.
• Product can be downloaded from the Web. It can also be shipped on a CD.

TexPort 2.01  has all the features of TexPort 2.00 with the following enhancements:

1. Improved conversion of plain TeX table
2. Corrected problems handling new commands
3. Improved error messages in Word macro
4. Now handles list items when there is no begin and end tags
5. Improved handling a large multi-line equations
6. Equations now placed into Word 2000 document as OLE objects
7. Corrected problems aligning INLINE equations vertically

Single Station License. One year of upgrades and technical support is included with software license purchase. Must register before use. Can register on-line (real time), by fax or by e-mail. Can use on a lan but only from station registering software. Can switch usage to another computer or station but must re-register.

Lan License. Can use on any station on lan. Multiple concurrent users permitted. Two years of upgrades and technical support is included with software license purchase.

Version 2.00

TexPort 2.00  is a Windows 95/98/NT 32 bit program that supports long filenames and paths, and includes a Graphical User Interface. The conversion program code is virtually the same as TexPort 1.12C with the following enhancements:

1. Support added for \renewcommand
2. Support added for \frac ab without brace delimiters for the numerator and denominator.
3. Corrected conversion of \mbox{}
4. Support for long filenames.
5. Resolves bibliography cross-references.
6. Improved support for LaTeX2e.
7. Resolves list items.

Status - TexPort 2.50

2. Stop supporting Macros for WordPerfect due to low demand, all macros support will be for MS Word 97/2000/xp ONLY.
3. We deliver on the web as soon as payment information has been approved. Users receive an email with instructions for downloading. Downloading is by FTP. Only a browser is required for downloading

1. Started shipping Aug 09, 2002.
2. OLE (Object Linking and Embedding) does work properly.
3. Improvements made to select, cut, copy and paste.
